As a child I knew the difference between: What was right and what - TopicsExpress

As a child I knew the difference between: What was right and what was wrong What was fair and what was unfair What was just and what was unjust Slowly but steadily I was conditioned to ignore All that as a child I could see: The noise of the wrong, the sight of the vulgar and also the want to raise my voice. I ignored the wrong-doer and let him become stronger Till I became the oppressed and the victim I became like the saint who gave life to the lifeless demon- who later almost killed the "ME" within. It took a threat to the real "ME" for me to decide That my eyes shall now refuse "not to see" That my ears shall now refuse "not to hear" That my mouth shall now refuse "not to speak" _____________________________________________________ Some of the men and women have taken upon themselves to become a part of changing the rules of the game.
