As a child I remember staring at my own eyes in a mirror for long periods of time & wondering what my soul was doing in there. See I had heard that saying the eyes are the window to someones soul thinking like a child does I just thought I could stare at mine long enough that I would see it. Of course I saw nothing but me & usually ended up just making lots if silly faces at myself. This morning, however, when I glanced into the mirror I stopped to stare at my windows & was glad to see the progress these eyes have made. Not quite as lively & young as I had remembered & not perfect by any means but still positive progress toward becoming who God wants me to be. My soul is quite bright & happy this morning. And yes, this brief moment of soul searching ended by me making silly faces at myself again. :) Have a great day yall!
