As a citizen we are entitled to vote once in an election. We - TopicsExpress

As a citizen we are entitled to vote once in an election. We cannot vote for someone who is unable to make it to the polls and ask us to vote on their behalf. Yet as this video shows it is not unusual for an elected official when casing a vote on the floor of their state house to cast the vote for others who are not in attendance. They do not seem to have to live by the same rules as we citizens. It may or may not be legal but is it ethical and should they be allowed to do so? Shouldnt voters have a true record of when their representatives are on the floor and actually voting? https://youtube/watch?v=SrBLxAt63Ks#t=110
