As a cold front tracks into the area, clouds will increase - TopicsExpress

As a cold front tracks into the area, clouds will increase tonight. We will have a few snow showers or flurries tomorrow morning, but amounts should be light to non-existent. North winds will keep temperatures from rising much tomorrow, although we may have upper 20s to low 30s along and south of Interstate 80. Then the bottom falls out of the thermometer. Arctic air will stream in... Monday night will drop into the single digits around zero over most of the viewing area with wind chills from 10 to 15 below. Tuesdays highs will only be in the single digits and teens. That negative number returns for overnight lows Tuesday night into Wednesday morning and we will stay in the teens for highs for the last day of the year. The beginning of 2015 will get back into the low to mid 20s. High pressure will keep us mainly sunny Tuesday through Thursday, but a system will track through Friday and Saturday producing snow in the state once again. Too early to pin down amounts, but this system has more moisture than the last couple... it will be a matter of the exact track and that wont be known until closer to Wednesday. After that system passes, more Arctic air will stream in for Sunday... highs back in the teens. #getoutyourparka #waitwhathappenedtospringweather
