As a colony caretaker and I am sure that those of you out there can relate, you sometimes feel like you are a criminal or that you are being stalked. At times you feel like your an army soldier in the trenches as you crawl in among bush, slither under fences through mud, rain or snow. Can you relate? This morning it was..Carm kill the lights! I was watching a car slowly drive by us, watching us as I am watching them. I have ducked down from my seat and I am peering out. They come to a stop but are facing our van...ummm why are they out in the dark, could they be falling us to find our ferals. Believe it or not this is how you think when you are a caretaker of feral cats. I even made Carm drive around behind the car to get a better look and then we circled around another way before heading to our breakfast club. The little black kitten has definitely joined up with our guys, hanging with Mo. I got within five feet this morning, not close enough to wrangle. Carm had set the trap farther away from our guys and we got a feral that has come down to eat at our colony. Looking at the first picture it may already be tipped?
