As a deer pants 4 flowng streams, so pants my soul 4 u oh God. My soul thirsts 4 God 4 the livng God. Wen shall I come n appear b4 God? My tears hav bn my food day n night, while they say 2 me all the day long, Where is our God? Ps. 42:1..... Gracious Father, ur Word gives voice 2 every season, circumstance, n emotion i experience in this journey. In ur delight n in my despair, in my certainty and in my frailty..... in my cheers n in my fear n in evrythng, u r with me n u r 4 me...... You dont love me mo wen i hav a dancing heart. u dont love me less wen i hav a doubtng heart..... Delightful circumstances dont mean i ave done everythng right n hard providences dont mean i ave done somethng wrong. Indeed, with kindness u drew me,n wit an everlastng, unwaverng love, u hold me no matter wat... 2dy i bring my discouraged, weary, deeply hurting heart 2 u....... Lord, sometimes it feels like life is just too much... the hard events, n the difficult people...... Lord Jesus, u knw what this is like u better than anyone else. 4 u took the ultimate combination of assaults n insults on the cross, 4 me.... My God, my God, why do i seem forsaken?, assures me ill never b 4saken, never, even when life mocks my creed n confession. Its ur thirst on the cross that assures me that out thirst is fleetng, though @ times it feels fatal..... Lord Jesus, as i pant 4 u, u r running to me with the living water of the gospel; as i starve 4 hope, u r preparing the fresh bread of mercy n grace. Come quickly, Lord. Show me how even 2 love my friends well when my words r simply not enough.in Jesus precious name i pray Amen...
