As a father I wish the best for my kids.I want them to be with the best possible people they can find but I also want them to search first. Its so hard to see your child with the wrong people when theres nothing you can do about it. Maybe not even the wrong people but just the wrong time. Everybody says Its their choice.and Theyll learn. but what if they dont? They wont listen to our advice, stories, and warnings which leads me to believe that all of our generations mistakes were in vain when the next generation discredits our ability through experience to predict how things will probably unfold. When I was younger I would always hear older people say If I knew then what I know now and thought it was bullshit. Well as it turns out, I should have shut up and listened once in a while.
