As a father of two is beheaded on the premise of a holy war it seems all the mainstream media are concerned about is whether Scotland gain independence. I for one am rather more worried about an impending Third World War than a nation wanting to break away based on oil reserves, national pride and an overwhelming sense of self pity as if Scotland were Englands uglier sister always overlooked for the lead role in the school play. In a time of massive political unrest, financial instability and race / faith crimes would it not be best for nations such as Scotland, England et al to pull together and resolve issues that may have a more detrimental effect on the world as opposed to whether Scotland should be independent. Weeks of prolonged debate, money spent and materials used for campaigns seems somewhat pointless when there are so many other issues we as a UNITED Kingdom could solve together.
