As a female, I know we can get a little hard on ourselves sometimes. With a society glorifying perfectionism, sometimes we just don’t feel like we measure up. We are told we need specific exercises to target our ‘problem areas’ in an attempt to attain that curvy, but lean, toned, but not too muscly, physique. I dont know about you, but I’m a little bit tired of this, this subliminal messaging to say you’re only as good as you look. That’s why our female only Saturday morning classes are run a little differently. Our aim is not for you to achieve that ‘perfect physique’, our aim is for you to understand you’re already perfect! Not only will classes challenge your physical body, it will also challenge your mindset to help you achieve that healthy mind-body connection. The classes are not just about physical goal achievement, they’re about growth: feeling better about yourself from the inside out and working through the mental barriers that may be holding you back. In your first session, we will establish what you are looking to get out of classes and give you homework throughout the week to help you achieve this.
