As a former Mormon who is gay, I can really relate to this. How sad....to be so brainwashed by your religion that you will marry a woman even though you are gay! This is when religion really damages lives. So glad I made the decision to be true to myself back in the 70s (gasp!) when I came out, despite all of the societal and religious ramifications. And trust me....back then it was much harder to be out with laws that made being gay ILLEGAL! But despite all of the hate, I still managed to find Robert, thirty three years ago, the love of my life and we created a beautiful life together, finally being able to get married just five years ago. To all of the young gay Mormons out there.....please do not do this to yourself! Be proud of who you are and do not let anyone stop you from living your life openly, without shame and finding the love of your life. If your family and friends try to change your mind or make you into something you are not, then it is time to say goodbye even as painful as that may be. I promise you that in the end you will be much happier. Love Kent
