As a former engineer, I was hesitant to buy this meter because of its relatively low price, and I almost purchased the higher priced Trifield made by the same company that has wider ranges of frequencies of the different fields covered. I am a realtor and I had a client concerned about EMF from nearby power lines, so I decided to do my own test. Everyone has heard about the possible health threat from EMF.
