As a friend explained to me, a corporation is designed to make money, that is the primary goal, since it does not need food, water, or air to survive. Therefore to claim religious hypocrisy for where it chooses to spend its money is to limit their actions vital to their livelihood. Its like a preacher who keeps his flock on the straight and narrow while gambling and whoring at the casino. The preachers job is to tell others how to lead their lives, not to lead by example. That would constrain his freedoms, which is to tell those under him how to live.
