As a kid, I remember thinking voting- the concept of everyone deciding something together- was awesome. Kids Voting Kansas, a nonpartisan group to renew enthusiasm for the democratic process, and Rock the Vote left an indelible impression in my (nerdy) little mind. Fast forward- I still think voting is awesome. And I want to help as many people as possible participate in the process. Registering voters with Battleground Texas is my jam and Im happy to see musical community leaders promoting our right to vote. Check out what theyre organizing these days. These guys truly rock. Dont forget October 6, 2014 is the last day to register to vote in the November General Election!!
