As a law enforcement officer, once in a while, youll have someone approach you on the street and say something to to the sort of, Officer, you probably dont remember me, but you arrested me a few years ago. It was the best thing that ever happened to me. It was inevitable that I was either going to jail, prison, or on the way to my grave, based on my lifestyle at the time of my arrest. Just wanted to say thanks. Any LEO will tell you thats a great feeling knowing you helped another human being when they were in one of lifes valleys.
