As a lifelong Cub fan, the disappointments have been many. My hope for this season is to see improvement over the past two seasons. But the future is bright and the minors are stocked. To those who think that this is the year, youre nuts. The only way for that to happen is to catch lighting in a bottle. Stranger things have happened. But this Cub fan will enjoy this season for what it is. Ill watch some of the youngsters grow. Next year...that will be the year. The pieces will be there, trades will be made and then the rest of baseball better watch out. This will be a team to win and contend for many years to come, not a one and done.
