As a lifelong writer, I have come to realize that, on the one hand, writing is a rather lonely endeavor of capturing, organizing and rearranging the unstoppable surge of words that gush straight out of the heart and soul. On the other hand, the essential isolation can be quite taxing on those writers who find social encounters refreshingly invigorating. Therefore, I have a dual mission in creating this Facebook page: a) To establish an online forum where writers from all over the world can meet up to exchanging ideas and post their writing for others to critique and even edit and/or proofread. b) To form and organize an actual writer’s group that is local to my geographic area (Antelope Valley, CA). We would be meeting once a month (time and location will be determined by members of the group) in order to rub elbows with individuals who share my passion for penning thoughts, feelings and emotions. As with the online group, we too will be sharing our writing for others to evaluate.
