As a lot of you I have a limited budget for stuff, which is why I am still wearing the same green shirt I bought 8 years ago and the core of my long sword is the one from the original sword i bought back in 2002, with just new padding. And after the post showing what Ogg did for his bunk a few years ago, and the discussion it started I thought we might want to try to put together ideas of very inexpensive things that can be used to bring the game closer to what people would call Awesome. A few rules; 1)no idea is bad; this is brainstorming, it only works if every idea is heard. 2) Nothing over say $60 total(give or take a few bucks). remember we want stuff that not going to McDs 6 times could pay for; or $100 if you think dividing the payments up would make it easier.3) No modern prints or logos, just like beginner garb. We want to get away from the mundane. I will start it off with a couple ideas I have had recently, and one I picked up at another game this summer. Boots: We all want them, and almost none of us can afford them, so what do we do? If you already have a pair of work boots (and they can be as low as $40 at Payless when they have a good sale going), then you can make one simple addition to make them look in game> Half-chaps. These are leather boot toppers that are Made to be worn outside in the mud; not like the cheap vinyl ones you find at Halloween stores which are made for one time use inside.
