As a lot of you would have heard two shops are closing there doors in accrington, one being marks and spencers the other one is homebase, In a town thats already suffering, thats a major blow to the people of accrington, a town were depression and anxiety as already got a large grip on society, a double blow like this will certainly add to the problem. That is why we urgently need the support from the people of this borough and surrounding boroughs to be vigilant and look at people around them, depression and anxiety does not show itself like a cold or a dose of the flu, people can appear as normal as the next person, as ive said before in a post just take a couple of minutes of your time to say hello to someone or ask how they are, a few simple words to someone, or a simple gesture can alter a persons state of mind in that split second, remember to suffer with anxiety and depression can be a lonely isolated place were people feel alone, your few minutes of conversation, can stop that feeling of loneliness and isolation and change someones day for them. So go on make someones day a better day.
