As a mama of a disabled child, I want to take a moment and tell all the other mothers of children with special needs, that I love you all. I understand how you feel at the end of a long day, how you long to put your head on the pillow and not have to sleep with one ear open. How you never can really ever disconnect. How you play tag team with your significant other (if there is one) to take care of the other kids in the house. How you lose memories because you are so caught up in the logistics of meeting their needs. And I understand that you wouldnt change a thing because you love them so........I love you all....
