As a matter of fact I spent a lot of time searching for authentic information about the Rumour going around that President GEj is dead. Hummmm. My inbox is filled up with messages from friends try to confirm the story. Hence I continued searching from my other contacts and associates because I definitely will not be the one to Break the News. Some claimed to heard that he is involved in air crash in Uganda Kampala, some said he just collapse collapse collapse collapse and die in his office, hummmm. The truth emerged when some person saw him during the fundraising dinner for terrorist victims and later on today he was notice at Osun final rally where he even declared that Omisore will defeat Arigbesola in August 9 Governorship election. Before today yesternight Ruben Abati Twitter handle dispelled the rumours and today he posted pictures of Osun rally. Thank God! My concern is in two ways. 1. I think it is not normal for citizens to celebrate the death of their leader. It opinion polls is anything to go by, I dear said the rating of the president at this moment is Low. Hence how could it be next year general or presidential election 2015? 2. From where did the rumors emerged? It was said that a student of Nigeria with name Jonathan was involved in ghastly vehicle accident in Uganda thus people assumed that GEj is the one since he is coincidentally in Kampala too. However the case may be I still suspected the rumors to be some kind of publicity shot in order to win public sympathy. Nevertheless, I think this is a failure. Leader make history, some have the ability to make history, some simply bent history itself. It is only those leaders that performs well that make the history of the generation.
