As a member organization of the National Alliance for Filipino Concerns (NAFCon), we are invited to NAFCon 2014 General Assembly during the weekend of October 10th-12th in Long Beach, CA at the Filipino Migrant Center. To give a brief description, NAFCon is a comprehensive alliance consisting of 30+ Filipino community, women, worker, professional, youth, and student organizations who have successfully campaigned around multiple issues affecting the Filipino-American community on a local, national, and international level and conducted relief, rehabilitation, and rebuilding for the Philippines in the aftermath of disasters. They are reaching out to see if our general membership would be interested in joining. Its a $50 fee if you pay by tomorrow and $80 if you pay after 9/12. We can arrange rides if necessary!
