As a mom, it feels great when one goal for your young one is accomplished like being potty trained. Potty training a son is quite different from your daughter. With girls, it has to be the most proper and more decent way like it has to be always on a toilet seat or potty, whereas boys can just stand behind a tree in the absence of restroom. LOL I was reluctant to do it when friends suggested me to help my son pee behind a tree. Im afraid of sending him a wrong message like spraying his ding-a-ling everywhere he wants to. One day, i was a bit embarrassed when he asked me loudly to get off the bus and pee behind the tree right in front of a shop. Lol. Well He managed to hold it until we got to a washroom. However, this week im noticing him he wouldnt and couldnt pee on or behind a tree and public restrooms. He wants to go home and pee on his own toilet! How meticulous is that?! He would hold it and make me go home from 5 miles away! He has a few accidents- wetting himself - for his unwillingness to use public toilet. And at this moment we are still on our way home to pee. LOL
