As a nation we are arising and casting off the mantle, a mantle that has been forced upon us all time and time again, one that silences us through fear, fear of the unknown, fear of the future.. but as we have seen the many promises of if you vote with me then there will be jobs is a false one, likewise in the Irish Water debacle, we as a nation have poured in countless billions into an entity that should not have been created in the first place, common sense would have dictated that.. a private company that we are assured will not be sold off.. much in the same way that Irish Gas, Eircom, and so many more are private entities.. entities not even in Irish ownership.. but the tide is turning .. and this tide must remain so if we are to succeed, succeed in bringing a real sense of change in to reality .. There are many reasons why we should all stand in protest, why we should all be standing against the installers, Why we all need to be United and take what is ours.. couple of facts.. We already pay .. those in group schemes as well as urban supply we all ready pay .. your motor tax and vat.. and sad to say some legacy prsi that was never revoked.. you have not been offered any alternative and as a private entity this is contrary to monopoly laws .. The subcontractors in some areas are of questionable companies.. companies who have been fined in europe and the states for failure to provide the service contacted.. never mind the breeches in laws we in Clonmel and all around Ireland have seen, Breeches that remain unanswered .. Household tax - gone to Irish Water not local services.. Property Tax - gone to Irish water with a promise local services may see it in 2015 Pension funds gone to Irish water .. Irish Water as a company are already deep in Debt and becoming insolvent. If insolvency is placed I have not seen any clear planning on the transfer from private ownership to public the countless billions of our assets that were transferred over.. And all for what to pay for an Odious Debt forced upon the Irish people, a Decision that was forced upon the government of the day .. a government that had proved in its actions to be no different than what we currently have.. remember in 97 the same year that the local government act brought in the 5% motor and 2% vat increases to pay for water services.. there was also a report warning of the property bubble and the future mortage crises.. Questions need to be asked on the collusion of government and private industry in light of recent interests coming to light in the Irish Water debate.. Answers is what is needed and not the political two step we have seen from Joan and Enda -ites.. and if answers are not forthcoming then ask ask and ask again .. So remember in the coming months. if they arrive at your door .. and offer the sun moon and stars.. remember the words of Pat Rabbitte .. and his election promises.. Remember the Promises of Enda and his party and how they fizzled away as soon as they were elected.. and to any other politician remember the People are united .. in one cause .. one fight and one mission .. and until we seen it completed there are many who will not stop in the battle..
