As a parent, Im appalled that these keep happening. I know the controversy right now is whether or not it was accidental, but thats not what Im speaking to at this moment. My statement is this, when Im in the car, I consistently look in the rear view mirror, which means I always see my kids, even when they were in their rear facing carseats I could still see a limb, head, etc. How are these parents forgetting their children in the car? I dont understand how this keeps happening. Now, let me also add that this child was almost 2 years old. That means toddler. This child, like most, would have been making itself known in the car. I personally dont like to leave my kids in the car for any reason for any amount of time whether the car is running with the a/c on or not. And thats nothing to do with the weather, its because I dont trust people. Im in fear someone will try to take them. Okay, rant over.
