As a parent of a Son with ADD/ADHD, I have done my research on medications, behavior, ways to parent and many many more topics. I also receive a lot of judgment and opinions of how I should parent Preston. Today, Prestons Doctor said he is proud of how far Preston has come (which he has made leaps and bounds of improvements) & how far I have come as a parent. He specifically said how happy is with the fact that we (Prestons Dad & I)werent quick to medicate Preston, we tried different approaches until medication was our LAST resort. Do your research, medication shouldnt be a parents first option to fix your kid because at the end of the day, your kid is still a KID. Let them be kids.
