As a particle approaches the speed of light its mass(inertial mass) increases........i am completely aware of the fact that its energy increases and so does its INERTIAL MASS....but then what about a photon itself.......does it also gain mass (i know its rest mass is zero) ......and if there is a mass gain....is this mass gain actually called RELATIVISTIC MASS(since the photon is in motion with respect to us)
