As a person of colour, I would not even know how to explain a decision like this, of a white council and mayor, to my son who will be growing up in a city that refuses to address racial discrimination in a comprehensive and strategic way.-Ameil Joseph, an assistant professor at McMaster University and on the citys Committee Against Racism This is absolutely disgusting...using the race card, implying Hamilton city council is racist... especially when theres another SIX racism committees, never mind agencies, that could be doing this work. And yet... he will not be held accountble for his words. This is the kind of people that teach our students, that help shape our community???
