As a person who loves pizza, and brings it home, at least once a week...I love the idea of this green pizza box, complete with serving plates and box for left-overs. My question is about recycling pizza boxes in KC. My recycling instructions say I cannot recycle my pizza boxes if they have any food particles left on them. Likely, they do have pizza grease, a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and perhaps some cheese stuck to them. So, can I recycle them? Do I have to scrape or rinse the cardboard first? Enlighten me, please.
