As a person who works for the night scene, i was deeply saddened to see news reports of Fete being closed due to an incident that occurred on Dike Street. Its truly unfortunate as we all know the club was NOT the cause of the incident. This council ..seems to close clubs that arent connected quite often . When an incident happens in a club i understand totally when it may be closed down etc ... but this scrutinizing of clubs for things that happen NEAR the club is unacceptable ... especially when a stones throw away theres a club down the street ... Needless to say ... Fete needs us right now ... Fete needs us to stand with them as they go in front of the board about this unfortunate unrelated incident ... Looking for DJs , promoters , and fans alike that have enjoyed the events and culture that Fete has provided for us to join me in support of the club by attending the hearing on Wednesday .... we need to show up and show out .. let me know if u are available to attend !!! (Don i need the time for the meeting weds and location )
