As a physical being I can not help to miss those who have gone before us... Yet I know they are spiritually with me each and everyday. It had been 14 years since my mom Violet Keonaona (Kamakea) Mahi has gone to Ke Akua, soon 8 years for my son Caleb Makanamaikalani-Kamakea Mahi and 2 months approaching since my dad has been gone. Those may think oh yeah they gone already move on. However to feel deep down into my puuwai the yearning of embrassing, conversations, laughter, going to hale pule together, arguing and the list goes on and on... Perhaps life does go on but the LOVE has never died... Quotes from my mom...
