As a politician if you build a modern public toilet for the people (especially Ofoni Town where large proportion of the population still in this 21stC uses open local latrines) will put your name in the book of history. Putting such facilities in place for the public uses to end the use of open local latrines in Ofoni town, will ameliorate the rate of environmental pollution the people are exposed to on daily basis. Such environmental pollution resulting from the use of open local latrines which include surface and underground water pollution, air pollution, soil pollution, food poisoning, among others has endangered the peoples live. Similarly, such facilities will also tell how developed the area is. For instance, if a stranger visit our communities for social activities and they needed a convenience to defecate, the types of open local latrine we have will depict how local and backward we are.
