As a preamble to this post, I shall ignore teleology, philosophy, epistemology, and linguistic gymnastics; all these that are favorites of many theists. They are used to obfuscate the subject and thereby confuse people. I will only bring up 2 subjects that I find are both abhorrent components of Christianity – - The concept of original sin is disgusting. Blaming a new born child on some idiotic creation myth and then informing said child that they have to atone for some mythological infringement is not only detrimental to the child, it is just wrong; cut and dried! - Some forms of Christianity state that acknowledgment of Jesus will redeem you. Others expect the acknowledgement and good deeds. It doesn’t matter! They all accept the idea that a conversion is all that is required for redemption. In other words; you can be a mass murderer or worse, and still be will be forgiven if you repent on your death bed. Conversely, you can be a kind and generous person that is an atheist and will be sent to hell. These two tenets of this diabolical religion should be enough to tell the majority of people that it is nonsensical and should be dispensed with in its entirety! :DL
