As a redhead I can attest to everything here (except that Im a redhead with green eyes!). My hair bleaches in the sun and the best that I can expect as I age is that I will become a platinum blonde... is that good or bad? One can only imagine my parents SURPRISE! when I appeared. As mentioned, there can be atavistic traits that impose themselves upon families. That explains away the milkman theory. It was even more of a surprise when I passed on my red hair to my son, Derek Fyten, because its a recessive gene. Its okay to be a Redhead!!! You reds rock!!
