As a reminder, outdoor fires are prohibited within the Cities of Neenah and Menasha unless you have an Opening Burning Permit. - You can only burn from 4:00 p.m. to Midnight. - Fires cannot be more than 2 feet above the pit. - Fires must be a minimum of 10 ft away from any houses, garages, fences, sheds or other combustible materials. - You cannot burn anytime wind speeds are in excess of 7mph. - You cannot burn leaves, grass, brush, garbage, etc. - You must have a water source nearby to extinguish the fire. - Recreational fires MUST be attended to at all times. City of Menasha residents can obtain their permit from the Finance Department. City of Neenah residents can obtain their permit from the Treasurers Office.
