As a result of todays heavy rainfall, Ku-Ring-Gai SES has received 29 Requests For Assistance (RFAs) from throughout the Ku-Ring-Gai area. Our volunteer crews are attending to these RFAs, based on the severity of the reported situation, locations of crews and the order in which the calls were received. With a number of the reports being due to localised flooding, with intense rain overwhelming drainage systems. If you have lodged a Request For Assistance through the NSW SES 132 500 number, and the situation has either resolved itself, or you have had it attended to by a tradesman or other contractor, please call back on the 132 500 number and update us. This will ensure that we can retask crews only to those jobs which still require our attention.
