As a rule I rarely participate in debates on FB that involves politics because without fail pretty soon racists slurs will emerge and logics and common sense will fly out of the door. The more militant posters will even turn flatout rude. Today I did participate because the initial post is something that is close to my heart. As could be expected the thing turned to race with an attack on whites. I have now made my final post there because it is going down the drain ... This is what I said ... If you want to be realistic, objective and honest ... go and just walk the light industrial areas around the towns and cities ... go and look who are the owners in these small enterprises. In the manufacturing sector you will find Afrikaners, Chinese, Jews some Indians and very very few Blacks. Then go and walk the general commercial areas of the towns and cities and look at who owns the small enterprises there ... Chinese, Indians, Greeks, Portuguese, Jews, Indians, Afrikaners and again, a very small almost insignificant number of Blacks. These people are the people that building their own wealth and build the economy. A very disturbing thing is when you see that the employees at most of these enterprises are foreigners, illegal immigrants ... that is a very serious state of affairs .... but more important is ... Why are these employers employing these foreigners ? Over the past 10 years or so the Labour Laws have been tuned and tweaked to create an environment that very few people are really interested in employing people. SMEs simply cannot comply and you see families working together in these SMEs. But hey ... I am wasting my time ... our country has been polarized and ruthless politicians are abusing these polarities for their own benefit. It is a pity Mr Mandela had such a short time in charge ... he understood the difference between the needs of the COUNTRY and the needs of a PERSON. He understood that a prospering COUNTRY will foster propespering PEOPLE. Those of you shouting RACIST slogans ... go and look around you. Those masses of whites that were driven out of the State Services ... most of them now own their own businesses. The disenfranchising of whites from Government Employment and Government Bussiness has actually made the white shareholding in the real economy bigger. By giving these ridiculous salaries to Civil Servants the Government are in fact just enslaving those officials because they are now wholy dependant on those salaries and have nowhere else to go if those jobs should disappear. Phillip David Dexter ... I do not ask for pity nor do I ask for sympathy ... what I am saying is that it is sad to see a country with so much to offer, go down the drain because a few politicians has more interest in feathering their own nests than to actively build an economy that in 50 years could be rich with private business and millions of happy employees.
