As a statutory requirement, quarterly advance tax should be paid on or up to 15th september in the designated branches of the banks authorized to accept tax payments. All such designated branches of authorized banks have been asked to keep their counters open on 14th and 15th of september to collect advance tax. So, now a taxpayer can pay his advance tax on saturday and sunday also....
