As a student,I loved History !And I would take a deep interest in the subject.Thanks to Ms.Mullick,Ms.PILLAI and Mrs.Chaturvedi ! *And there are many people that I studied about in history,I admired them. Even though people would always point out the bad things they did. *It is important to realize that humans can never be perfect or faultless. So,these people-reformers,freedom fighters,will definitely have flaws. But why do we overlook or forget the good contributions they made ? They did a lot of good. Mother Teresa,Mahatma Gandhi,Nelson Mandela are few such people. Their thoughts,ideas,actions would inspire me. They stood up for what they believed in fearlessly. *I believe we are all humans and we have to stand up for each other when see injustice happening around. In my entire life,atleast the last 7 to 8 years,I have stood up against injustice with Gods Help,the One God we all believe in. Earlier as a child it would make me cry. Whether at school,college,society or family level. And it was always and will be a priority,in sha Allah. At times,students and colleagues and family supported but majority of the times,I have had to fight it alone.I have been encouraged by personalities like Mrs.Chaturvedi (cl 10),Ms.Banerji (cl 12),I.S.Maam (college),Shazia Api (Burooj) and they were a blessing from God,really ! At times,the pain,criticism,harsh words,isolation,groupism would make me cry (till 12) or give up hope but the assurance and words of advise and encouragement they would give,it kept me going. Thank you teachers ! May God bless you all. *I have realized as humans,as individuals we have to have a set of fixed morals and principles that we will never compromise on. We have to stand up for the truth,stand up against injustices. If we dont,I feel we havent done anything,our existence is meaningless ! *I despise the hypocrisy that we wear Be Human tshirts or take part in events but cant apply it in our lives. Whats the point,really ! *I believe that when it comes to justice...family,cast,race,nations,community,religion doesnt matter !! Truth is one and unchangeable ! If anyone harms or is unjust or unfair to another,we have to do justice,do whats right even if it means going against your own family or society ! Injustice should never be tolerated !! May God give us strength to stand up for justice,for truth. Ameen.
