As a teacher, when you start new, there are are always THOSE teachers who step up, wrap their are arms around you, and ask, are you SURE you want to do this??? And laugh. That was Debbie Gass for me. We became INSTANT friends!!! We laughed together EVERYDAY afterwards!! There is a HUGE VOID in my life and at Ooltewah Middle School. I am BLESSED to call Debbie my friend!! But most of all, I am PROUD to call her my colleague!! I will strive to be more like her, everyday!!!
