As a teenager I asked God to show me why I was on earth and He answered me by sending the missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They taught me of Joseph Smith and the restoration of the one true living church on earth. I know this church is true! Joseph did see God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ and He was their chosen Prophet, he translated the gold plates by the power of God, and now we get to have those sacred words in our homes. I am grateful to him for the sacrifices he made. I love the Book of Mormon and the true church. I love to go to the Temple and I love our prophet of today President Monson. I hope all who read this know these things are true, and if not that you will pray about it, study up on it and discover the joy of the truth on earth...the restored gospel of Jesus Christ! I am grateful my daughter Christy Newell has chosen to sacrifice and go on a mission to try and share these truths with the world.
