As a young inexperienced father and later on as manager of several - TopicsExpress

As a young inexperienced father and later on as manager of several different groups of employees, I was responsible for their actions. I had to learn how to discipline them and, also, how to help them [both my children and my employees achieve their full potentials]. A good friend shared a great resource with me [a book entitled “Tough Love”]. The principles expressed in this book were based on our HEAVENLY FATHER’S love and discipline [basics taught in HIS word for disciplining and training those we are responsible for]. I used these principles with my children [and with my employees]. Some people in positions of authority refuse to take responsibility for the actions of those they have authority over [ignoring their responsibility] and trying to ignore problems. ”Our human fathers correct us for a short time, and they do it as they think best. But GOD corrects us for our own good, because HE wants us to be holy, as HE is.” [Hebrews 12:10] Today as I pray for myself, my family and friends, strangers I may never meet, and our leaders [in churches, our workplaces, the government, and in society]; I ask THE HOLY SPIRIT to guide me [and those I am praying for], through the study of GOD’S word, to gain the knowledge and wisdom to apply what we learn to help others be disciplined in their lives and to develop into the children of GOD that HE planned for all of us to be.
