As alerted by mission teammate Zero Tolerance Knives-KAI USA Ltd, we lost three heroic warriors on the 21st: SPC Joshua J. Strickland, 23, of Woodstock, Ga.; SSG Liam J. Nevins, 32, of Denver Colo.; and SSG Timothy R. McGill, 30, of Ramsey, N.J. armytimes/article/20130924/NEWS/309240027/Pentagon-IDs-3-Green-Berets-killed-Afghanistan-attack. SPC Strickland was assigned to 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. SSG Nevins was assigned to 5th Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group, Watkins, Colo. SSG McGill was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group, Middletown, R.I. We will remember their sacrifice with gratitude, and hold their loved ones close.
