As always, I fully support Border Patrol and the job they do. But the law is the law and your Constitutional Rights are your rights. And when these officers became Border Patrol agents, they rose their right hand swore to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. The driver WAS NOT being detained because there was no reasonable suspicion or probable cause to do so. Although the Supreme Court has upheld these checkpoints, they have not forced citizens to comply, answer questions or show papers unless there is probable cause to do so, just as the driver showed.. This circus went on and on because the driver didnt ask if he was being arrested or detained and instead was essentially giving consent for it to continue. https://youtube/watch?v=eUHfyPylVL8
