As an 18-year-old, Patsha came to a crossroads. She endured a tumultuous childhood, and survived a stint of homelessness after aging out of the foster care system, but her challenges were far from finished. Patsha had to decide whether to continue down a path that might lead to prison or turn her life around. With the help of Places for People and Missouris only Forensic Assertive Community Treatment program, Patsha has made great strides forward. Patsha, now 20, has an apartment, a job and is excelling in the classroom, with goals of a future in journalism.
