As an American I can definitely say that I like having my waffles with something wet on them, in the past I would drench my waffles with syrup, but Ive found that all of these ingredients, as pretty as they are, are a distraction to a well made and fresh Liege Wafel flavor. A little whipped cream satisfies that need for wet without changing the awesome flavor that it is. You dont have to enhance this wafel and the sweet is already in it. But hey, if youre in a chocolate mood, then youre in a chocolate mood. So we will also have fudge, Nutella and Speculoos (cookie butter), bananas and strawberries-
