As an American, I embarrassed to say we have been unable to intervene in Gaza. Self interests aside, we as a society can no longer tolerate the brutal mass murder of innocent civilians. Right now we have a historic opportunity to show the world why we are a superpower with dignity. Dont be fooled into believing we are doing all we can. As cliché as it is, your voice does matter, and its time you use it for more than afternoon gossip. Israel hit Al Jeezeras offices 1 week after they asked them to leave. And today, another UN facility has been hit during fighting between Israel and Hamas. No one is safe and now the press and international peace efforts are being targeted. To put this in context for some you, Tuesday is Eid and this month is Ramadan, the holiest month of year for many people in this region, and their homes are being attacked. You picture your family and yourself for a moment being attacked during the Christmas holidays. Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are. #SupportGaza
