As an Arab in the U.S., I have to deal with this crap as well. But hey, Im a foreigner, I chose this (somewhat). Blame it on my masochism, fine. But imagine having to deal with it if its your home, your only home. I guess, though, if youre Lebanese, of almost any sect or type, you probably dont need to imagine. Youve likely experienced some form of discrimination any time you went to one of THEIR areas/shops/institutions/events (whoever THEY are). And likely committed it as well. Were equal opportunity, reciprocal discriminators. Much more advanced than these silly Americans...
