As an artist here in Las Cruces, New Mexico, I will no longer shop at Hobby Lobby. With the SCOTUS ruling today this goes against my beliefs. In the past I have bought many of my art supplies on-line. I work with colored pencils and the selection was not enough to satisfy my needs. Boycotting businesss has always been an a American way of saying no. We have many art stores that are in the business of serving the Artists needs. I will support them, I will always give them my business because they know me by name. The internet is full of art suppliers and maybe its time we trade supplies that we have more of and/or direct other artists to sites that sell us what we need. We have an independent bead store here and thats where I go to get them if a project requires them. However you feel about this decision, I am BOYCOTTING Hobby Lobby. We need change in the SCOTUS.
