As an individual, I really think religion is a form of neurosis and should play no role or influence decisions at all, and so, in any way. Even then, one must not lose sight of the fact that, for the vast majority of mankind, religion is a way of life, and subsequently, its life itself. So, what is this nonsense about a Muslim-Muslim ticket the APC appears to be mulling? It is what the Yoruba people call efun, edi or afise, which is very difficult to translate to English but would, in the final analysis be a grave miscalculation with ultra-grave consequences. As the Yoruba woukd say in this kind of circumstance, Jonathans joujou (which he would claim is the power of prayer) has already started working. Tinubus valutin ambition, if that is what is propelling this foolishness, will help a thoroughly incompetent Jonathan to remain in power. If the leadership of the APC had any sense, they would perish the thought!
