As an intern at Universal Studios, Steven Spielberg, 17, made his first short film for theatrical release. The company executives reviewed the short film, and were so impressed that they offered a seven year contract to him. Even though he became the youngest director to be hired on by the studio, Steven Spielberg did not stop pursuing his dreams, as he went on to become one of the most popular and influential filmmakers in the history of cinema.
